What we collect

When you send us a detail or request a quote

Your name, company, email, phone number, your message, and any drawing, photo or PDF you attach.

When you use the ordering app

Your name, email, business, and sign-in details (passwords are stored scrambled; passkeys stay on your device), plus the parts you draw, your quotes, orders and invoices.

When you browse the website

Anonymous visit counts: the page, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your country. No cookies, and nothing that identifies you.

How we use it

To quote and make your parts

Pricing your request, building your order, and keeping your drawings with it.

To keep you posted

Emails about your request, quotes, orders and invoices, and the codes and links you use to sign in.

To run the business

Records we keep for orders, billing and taxes, and to improve the website and app.

Who helps us handle it

Hosting

The website and ordering app run on Render, in the United States.

Email

SMTP2GO sends the app’s emails; Microsoft 365 handles our mailboxes.

Reading drawings

When you send a drawing, an AI service reads it so we can draw your parts up. It’s used only to read that drawing.

Visit counts

Umami, run on our web developer’s own server.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account or an order with us, and afterwards as long as business and tax records require. Server error logs are kept for 30 days.

Your choices

Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and we’ll take care of it, keeping only what we’re required to keep. In the app you can change your details, your passkeys and which emails you get under Settings.
